Why was Daily Show a repeat last night?

Aren't they on the floor of the convention? We turned it on and were so disappointed.

that their coverage would start tonight and run through Fri.

2. I saw John Stewart....

on MSNBC coverage of the convention last night.....he was on with Tim WHORE Russert and Tom Brokaw....he was very funny!

6. Russert and Tom Brokaw were such idiots

especially Brokaw. He was so serious, and didn't even smile or chuckle at Stewert.

I thought JS was funny and will be even more so tonight!

8. well, Brokaw didn't even realize Stewart was joking

when Stewart first said that we needed less coverage of the convention and more of the candidates' wives, Brokaw went on and on about the "shove it" nonsense, and Stewart had to hammer Brokaw over the head to make him realize it was sarcasm ... some people just don't pick up on deadpan ... of course, we are also a country with a chief executive who doesn't "do nuance", so I guess we shouldn't be surprised

I think the convention coverage doesn't start until today or tomorrow to give them time to write and edit the show.

I saw a commercial for the Daily Show. Their convention coveragage begins tonight. :)
