5. There is an organization called
The Kensington Welfare Union...or some such thing. (I have to go look it up)

They were planning on setting up Bush Tent Cities during the Republican Convention. I think they said they were doing tent cities around the Capitol from time to time also. Woot!

Again, I'll go look up this info and bring it back later. It's rather interesting. Gonna watch the C-span thing first.

7. Ok...here goes...
http://www.kwru.org/mfol/marchforourlives.html

In this link are links to more info. This link is part of what is called the Kensington Welfare Rights Union but has many other supporting orgs onboard. It deals with the poor, the homeless, welfare issues and more. Their most in your face event are "Bushville" tent cities.

Whenever you are ready, go look through the entire site. It's awesome to say the least. Pictures, testimonials, events stateside and international. More than I can go into here. Let me know what you think. Peace~~

10. The author died recently
He contributed to the ADA, and the legislation for accessible architecture.

That background gives a lot of depth to this book.
