Pro-GOP Groups Outpaced In Funds (Great Piece!)
Over the past four months, Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) has raised more money than the Bush campaign and substantially eroded the president's once-huge cash advantage.

Now, President Bush and his GOP allies have suffered another serious setback: Independent pro-Republican groups that recently vowed to challenge pro-Democratic organizations for supremacy in spending unregulated or "soft" money on campaign ads and voter mobilization are getting their clocks cleaned by their rivals.

3. And the reason is that:
Since these are not direct contributions to the GOP there is no direct quid pro quo. The independent Demo groups aren't trying to "buy" anything with their donations except the rescue of our country.

When right wingers "donate" they want to know for sure they're getting back a hefty profit on their investment.

6. Absolutely correct!
Today's Republican Party will go down as the richest, most morally bankrupt political party that choked on its own greed. They've put the financial agenda of their backers ahead of America's best interests. If I was a Republican looking back over the past 35 years or so, I'd be very concerned what John Q. Public is going to think when he realizes that this party has sold America down the tubes, in favor of fattening profits for oil companies and war profiteers. The backlash will not be pretty.

4. The $20 donations add up plus there's more to it
To say you're for so and so is one thing, but when to have donated $$ you have a deeper interest in your guy winning.

5. I just threw in another $300
I'm not here to brag, but I'm up to $1000. I feel good about giving my tax cut (* vote bribe) money to Kerry/Edwards...... I want my god damned country back!
