Help me with a Winger at Work!
This is the Bush resume. Please read the typical RW BS from my co-worker in bold and respond.

This individual seeks an executive position. He will be available next January, and is willing to relocate.

RESUME

GEORGE W. BUSH
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20520

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

Military: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

College: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS:

- I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union 100% inaccurate..accroding to the tree huggers at greenpeace Tx is way down the list. I think last time I saw it they were 11th in the US. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. not so..LA still is the worst

- I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money. total crap Tx is not bankrupt and he inherited a Mtn of debt when he took office ) The record speaks for itself

- I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. Absolutely true!!! Wish the rest of the liberal whiners would follow suit!

- With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes. This is debatable…but you know that.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

- I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. For drunk driving??? Cmon…we have senators that are guilty of Manslaughter
- I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week. It was a republican that put us in Viet Nam?? NOT

- I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. propaganda

- I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. Voodoo Democratic math.

- I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. Yea…by democrats who have a solid record of stiffing their creditors…

- I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

- I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month. % wise? Or gross points? This is also inaccurate.

- I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. Hey..you want a capitalist economy?? Their has to be rich and poor..you cant have capitalism and socialism.

- I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. Kerry is close!!!

- I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

- My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.

- My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.

- I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

- I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. And how is that not the fault of the ragheads????

- I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

- I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.

- I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government. This is totally true and he should be bitch slapped for this one.

- I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history. Clinton broke more laws..who cares about treaties.

- I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. We should toss those losers out of NY before Kerry gives the country away.

- I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. Good move.

- I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I say execute them all…saves us money…lets behead them on the internet so everyone can see!!!

- I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). We should execute them too.

- I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television. Too busy doing the job??? Whats wrong with that?

- I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history. I need sometime off too…

- I garnered the most sympathy ever for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

- I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.

- I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I told you we should have nuked them…we would have saved 800 american kids lives!

- I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families in wartime.

- In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons
for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends. Intelligence sucks…the French even stated they believed Iraq had WMDs

- I am the first President in history to have a majority of
Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. COOL..if it wasn’t for usa..they would all be speaking German and goose stepping!!!

- I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. WOOHOOO..I want one too!!!

- I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice. How do you find a raghead in a cave??? We will find him.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

- All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my
father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.

- All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

- All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004!

If he can do all that…he must be good. He gets my vote!!

1. Here's my suggestion, and unfortunately it won't help until you can get to
the library:

Read the introduction -- just the introduction is enough! -- of Shrub: The Short but Happy Political Life of George W. Bush.

Your co-worker is full of crap, and the intro to this book will show it.

6. He keeps using the term "raghead".
Which leads me to believe he wasn't the valedictorian in his sensitivity training seminar.

Just ask him about a consensual blowjob between two consenting adults - and see how fast it takes him to say 'Slick Willie'.

The only things that will shake a dumbass like that out of their catatonic state of Bush subservience and ass-kissing -

1. They have to train their Indian replacement when their job is shipped overseas.

2. Their son or daughter is shipped back from Iraq in a body bag.

It doesn't take much energy to say "Not true! Liberal bias". Ask him to prove his rebuttals. Then watch closely as his hair starts smoking...

8. I CAN'T BELIEVED YOU MISSED
the fact that there are many claims in that resume that even your co-worker won't dispute:

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

College: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

(Make fun of his idol, the Cheerleader. Ask him if he prefers Bush* with pom-poms or on the top of the pyramid)

- I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

Hit him on Enron and Halliburton. I bet your "buddy" is upset about Bush*'s corporate ties also.

- I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.

- I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

Ask him why he had no response to this one. Ask him "Do you think this is not true, because I can show you the law? Do you think we should give contracts to crooks? Bush* does"

Another point he seems reluctant to argue. Ask him if he thinks it's good that people hate us instead of respecting us.

- I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I told you we should have nuked them…we would have saved 800 american kids lives!

Ask him why he supports Bush* after Bush* unnecesarily (in HIS words) sacrificed the lives of 800 American kids.

- I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families in wartime.

10. Always check with Snopes.com
http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/resume.asp

They provide two links, one that supports the "resume" and one that refutes. By checking both links you'll have a pretty good idea of what's real or not.

However your neo-con co-worker sounds pretty fanatical and I advise you to ignore his attempt to drag you through misleading and inflammatory neo-con "stalking points."

It's not called freak republic for no reason.

13. I'll hold his hands behind his back, you punch!
That's about the only help anyone can give you with him.

He's wrong on most, if not all, of it. The one thing that caught my eye was his comment on Texas's mountain of debt. When Bush took over, he got a surplus, not a deficit. He began tax giveaways and loose spending programs based upon projecting that surplus forward and ignoring potential future expenditures. He lowballed the estimates needed for social programs.

In 2000, Gore accused Bush of running a budget shortfall in Texas, and Bush and the Republican thugs in Texas gov't called Gore a liar. Gore was right. Bush's estimates of welfare spending were based on the most optimistic growth forcasts. As Gore pointed out, a minor slowdown in just the growth of the economy would cause a shortfall. That's exactly what happened, but Bush left it all to Perry to clean up, and Perry is going to pay the political price for it.

On the rest, one thing I noticed. Texas and Houston have the worst air quality. Your compadre is using different stats on pollution in general.

Violent crime in Texas is very high, and executions have not lowered it, so your friend is just a bloodthirsty ass for wishing more executions. Check out Gary Graham one day. The man was innocent, and Bush had him killed anyway.

It's not debatable that Gore got over half a million more votes than Gore.

Bush may have also had a cocaine conviction. People in Texas certainly know he did all he could to erase his criminal record, including having his and his wife's drivers license numbers changed, making it impossible to track their criminal records. Bush claimed when asked that all governors did this for security reasons, but no other governor ever did it.

Republicans file for banruptcy more than Democrats.

He claims Kerry is close as a president who takes campaign trips? He must be prescient.

The highest gasoline prices are not the result of OPEC (and I'd kick his ass for using his racial slurs). OPEC is releasing enough oil, we aren't turning it into gasoline. And prices aren't set by OPEC, they are set by speculators, similar to any commodity, and that speculation is driving the price up. This could even indicate a fix, like what Enron did to California. It could be because of China, and it could be because of uncertainty over Iraq. But it has absolutely nothing to do with OPEC.

Lots of drivel. Your friend is a racist ass. Nothing you say will register with him in any way. Sorry. I've dumped friends like that.

14. The guy sounds like an idiotic bigot and you shouldn't bother...
But I can't refuse a good rebuttal.

<<- I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. For drunk driving??? Cmon…we have senators that are guilty of Manslaughter>>

It doesn't change the fact, and drunk driving isn't exactly a minor crime. It's called 'reckless endangerment' (not legally, but that's what it IS). Drunk driving offenses are often .8 seconds away from BEING manslaughter charges.

<< I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. propaganda>>

Uh, bullshit? The massive surplus that built up thanks to Clinton's 1993 budget (and arguably the telecomm bubble) was COMPLETELY wasted within the first year of Bush's administration. It's true, and it's damn hard to refute... because it's TRUE. Which is why he just said "propaganda." He can't say anything else.

<<- I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. Voodoo Democratic math.>>

See above. In short, BULLSHIT!

<<- I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month. % wise? Or gross points? This is also inaccurate.>>

Dude, you just talked about voodoo math. Easy to twist the numbers so job numbers look better than they currently suck.

<<- I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. Kerry is close!!!>>

Not really, because HE'S NOT A U.S. PRESIDENT! (yet. For another few months)

<<- I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. Hey..you want a capitalist economy?? Their has to be rich and poor..you cant have capitalism and socialism.>>

The subtleties of a regulated market aside (the preferred middle ground between pure capitalism and pure socialism), why do there have to be poor people? Because pure capitalism sucks when the scales tip a little bit in any direction.

<<- I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. And how is that not the fault of the ragheads????>>

Ragheads?

<<- I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history. Clinton broke more laws..who cares about treaties.>>

He hasn't been convicted for anything. Still. Must really piss him off! And the two are completely different things. Although to use the laws-as-treaties analogy, if you become known for breaking laws (or contracts), your neighbors will be VERY nervous about being around you.

<<- I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. We should toss those losers out of NY before Kerry gives the country away.

- I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. Good move.>>

We don't need to express freedom! We ARE freedom! How dare those less free companies claim we aren't free!

<<- I refused to allow inspector's access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I say execute them all…saves us money…lets behead them on the internet so everyone can see!!!>>

Wrong in every concievable moral and ethical way. I really hope he's being sarcastic, but I doubt it.

<<- I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). We should execute them too.>>

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

<<- I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television. Too busy doing the job??? Whats wrong with that?

- I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history. I need sometime off too…>>

Sounds like he's fine with no public accountability at all, as long as his president is Republican.

<<- I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I told you we should have nuked them…we would have saved 800 american kids lives!>>

Or we could have, you know, NOT GONE IN. There were countless more subtle and effective options we could have used.

<<- I am the first President in history to have a majority of
Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. COOL..if it wasn’t for usa..they would all be speaking German and goose stepping!!!>>

We have to "get over" the 2000 elections, so why do these jackasses milk WWII every chance they get when it comes to Europe?

Gah.

15. try this equation
republican house + republican senate + republican whitehouse = largest budget deficits in the history of the country ...

or perhaps he cares about the importance of jobs ... bush is the first occupant of the whitehouse since herbert hoover to have a net loss of jobs during his four years in office ... and that's with a republican house and a republican senate ... hard to blame the democrats for that ...

when will republicans stop blaming democrats and accept responsibility for the mess they've made ???!!!

Call him on it. Ask him about why it is that he glorifies in the idea of killing people so much. Ask him if he needs anger management counselling. And ask him if he gets his jollies imagining people dying and being tortured.
