Giuliani - Bio-One
wow, I had completely missed this story before there was a segment about it on MSNBC just now ... Rudy Giuliani's security consulting group Giuliani Partners is a partner in a company they helped to start called Bio-One that specializes in decontaminating buildings which have been hit with anthrax attacks?? and not only are they doing the work at the building where American Media (tabloids) was based, but when it's done, it's going to be the company's new headquarters?? 1. 'Former Enquirer HQ Fumigated for Anthrax' in Boca, by BioOne!
Nice way for the Repubs to showcase Guiliani as the one man who can clean up after terrorists - would he step in if Cheney takes a dive and 'clean up' the Repub ticket in time for November?

Take a look at that first Guiliani quote, in bold:

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=11&u=/ap/20040712/ap_on_re_us/anthrax_building

The cleanup is being led by BioONE, a company established by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and Sabre Technical Services, which decontaminated other buildings hit by anthrax attacks. "It will be a symbol that we can deal with these new risks that we live with in our new world," Giuliani said.

After a call of "Let's go" from Giuliani, workers started the flow of chlorine dioxide, a chemical used to disinfect drinking water, into the American Media Inc. building to kill the spores. A high concentration of the chemical is kept in the sealed building for 12 hours to be effective.

snip

BioONE then plans to occupy the space as the headquarters for its new crisis management venture. The company hopes to move in by the end of the year.

snip

A real estate investor bought the building for a paltry $40,000 and then made plans to lease it to BioONE. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, though the decontamination at the larger Brentwood Post Office in Washington cost $130 million.

2. Who cares - at least he's not a "trial lawyer"
RG is a scummy war profiteer, but that's Ok if you're GOP.
