5. This is why I support the troops.

They are going through hell for us in Iraq.

Although I have never supported the war, and although I fervently oppose their current commander-in-thief, I support them to the fullest extent.

I wish the best for you, him, and your family.

11. I really don't care. . .
. . .he is a soldier a kid who joined the Army to provide for his family and par for college he is not political. Let him come home first, get his head straight and then we will worry about politics. I will worry about the politics and when the time comes he and I will chat.

12. Actually, I am glad he doesn't know yet. He has enough on his plate.
And I am sure he will figure it out sooner or later, when he is ready to deal with it.

8. I hope he comes home and doesnt get sent back
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 12:29 PM by Mari333
and bring him home now...dont let them take him again, they are sending them back with shrapnel in them and sending them back with severe PTSD...horror stories..
((hugs)))

edit to add: they are running out of warm bodies to send over there..he has the option of trying to get into the Navy reserves or the Coast guard or anything to transfer into that is less dangerous..they are sending a lot of the kids back

and yes, none of them should be there, this war is a fraud.

9. A million dollar wound...
Let's hope they don't send him back when he recovers.

Glad to hear he got out safe though.
