Why isn't kenny-boy IN JAIL?...did we fall for the bush* theatrics?

the government should have SIEZED all kenny-boy's ill-gotten assets, homes, cars, planes...just like drug-dealers, while kenny-boy waits for trial....

kenny-boy is a MAJOR FLIGHT risk...with homes and business friends all over the world...they should LOCK HIM UP until trial for the magnitude of the crime...half a million in bail is chump-change to kenny-boy...plus, the crimes that they charged him with do NO JUSTICE to the magnitude of the crimes...is 3 low-level charges the BEST they can do...what about THROWING THE BOOK at him??? at least ONE charge for each of the thousands of business that kenny-boy collapsed....STEALING MULTI-MILLIONS SHOULD GET YOU LOCKED UP NOW !!

here we are THREE YEARS LATER...and all we get is a 'little' showboating for bush*....the trial isn't even set until LATER...and bush* will no doubt forgive his good friend.....

are we really falling for this bigtime rovian B.S.?...with the perp walk photos and the editorial cartoons....you'd almost think that bush* was actually doing something about these corporate criminals....

I thought she was whining because they had to sell TWO of their FIVE luxury Aspen Colorado ski-homes...I recall her sitting a the front of an obscenely large Texas house whining about the Aspen houses....just a few of many houses owned by kenny-boy....AND gotten with money STOLEN from hard-working Americans and retired seniors....

This is standard procedure. Lay is not going to get off barring a pardon. There are a couple of scenarios that could play to Lay's favor and that's it. A wuss prosecutor (unlikely, Lay is the type of case that makes a prosecutor's career), a wuss judge (ditto) or a pardon. This is it. Lay is screwed in a very big way here and he's going away for a very very long time. He has no one left to rat out so he's not going to get a plea deal, and the feds don't indict until they believe they have a rock solid case. and frankly you are talking about 3 years...well 3 years is really no big deal in these types of situations. The feds will investigate for a decade if they have to, the indictments come down when the evidence is considered to be unshakable. This guy is done for.

5. kenny-boy was just LET GO on a small bail...what's to stop him

from bail jumping....getting on his own JET PLANE and leaving America forever for one of his many homes and bank accounts in foreign countries???? If kenny-boy KNOWS that he's cooked...then he's a MAJOR FLIGHT RISK...and his BAIL should be MUCH MUCH MUCH higher....

IMO, kenny-boy and the kenny-boy trial pulls a bush* delay, obfuscate, and throw up smoke screens....TEXAS is full of wuss judges and immoral lawyers (some even fall asleep at death penalty trials, without concern by Texas court....or illegal Congress re-districting that no court cares about)....so is DC where I live, with neo-con ideologs, like ken starr, all over the place...most juries would have a hard time even understanding the complex business stealing done by bush* good friend....

IMO, the whole perp walk was done for theatrics for his good friend bush* re-selection campaign...

6. Look im not disputing that this was a photo-op

in fact i posted that i KNOW for a fact it was a photo-op. Most white collars self-surrenders are never handcuffed. However, the circumstances of Lay's bail, his release and his indictments are not uncommon. This guy is going down. No doubt about it. The feds do not let you go and judges and prosecutors are bound by very strict rules that they cannot simply break just to help out some crook, even if that crook happens to be a friend of the POTUS.

Additionally, federal and state court systems are wildly different, and yes you are right juries wont understand it, but this works against ken lay, not for him.
