TRUMP slams Bush...
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/210552p-181432c.html
<Snip>
President Bush, you should be fired.
The Donald has turned thumbs down on the President's war in Iraq, calling it a "mess."

"What was the purpose of the whole thing?" Donald Trump asks in an Esquire interview. "Hundreds of young people killed. And what about the people coming back with no arms and no legs?"

<end snip>
Wow. When your own start turning against you, I think you're in trouble.
Duckie

2. The Donald is actually pretty liberal in his contributions...

Granted he's given to Repubs also, but it looks like he's given more to Dems.

5. Trump is no republican toadie
Yeah, he's a rich guy, and works in a cutthroat business, but he's no rightwinger.

Still, it's nice to hear that he can't stand the IdiotFuckInChief either.

11. I'd Guess He Leans Liberterian
Interviews i've seen and read kind of indicate to me that he has the sense of laissez faire gov't that liberterians espouse.

Given his business's policies on diversity, marriage, sexual orientation and the like, he probably believes personal life is nobody's business.

So, hands-off gov't and civil liberties. Sounds like he would promote liberterianism to me.

12. Didn't he try
to get the reform party's nomination for president? Then Buchanan ended up getting it and I remember Trump saying that Buchanan likes Hitler too much.

He's a goofy guy, with the strangest head of hair I've ever seen...

13. Consider the source
It's the New York Daily News. Kind of the Fox News of tabloids.

Two days ago, they picked Gephardt as Kerry's VP choice.

14. That's wrong
It was the NY Post that said Kerry had Gephardt. The Post and NY Daily News are competing publications.

23. I made up a poster like early this year. "George, You're Fired!"
Using pic of The Donald that was on the cover of Newsweek earlier this year. It got a number of laughs and thumbs up.

I am totally suprised. Who knew the Donald had it in him. Too bad ol' dubya isn't listening to his peers or anyone else.

16. Just because he's butt-loaded
Doesn't make him a conservative. I think most of his appeal lies in the fact that he's always been a little earthy in terms of business tycoons.
