Drop Cheney Talk: are your favorite local Repubs talking this up? Mine

I live and work in the heart of shrubco's base, in the Dallas area. I hear a lot of lunchroom talk about how Cheney should be dropped from the ticket.

Mind you this is largely from shrub/Cheney supporters who feel Cheney has provided good service, but because of his infirmities and the fact that he could never be president, is too much of a liability and should step down off the ticket.

One such person is someone who I admire and respect a good deal, politics aside. He feels that Cheney has essentially been the president most of this term. I wonder how many other shrubco supporters actually believe that.
