Street protestor's arrest story ...(had a Bush punching bag)
http://www.votebushout.biz/rockyarrested.asp

Rocky and the Lyin' King were arrested on Saturday, April 10, 2004 @ 12:30 PM, while participating in the 5th Annual Death & Taxes Resistance Festival in Andover, MA. Click here for more info on the 5th Annual Death & Taxes Resistance Festival. Scroll down for more photos of the arrest.

While fighting for America and against the failed bush administration, Rocky's arrest energizes the VOTE BUSH OUT! political street theatre campaign. The campaign now includes a fight for our First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly.

Rocky's arrest has already sparked a big national debate about the state of our civil rights in the USA. Why??? Because Rocky dares to forcefully protest the failed bush administration, while standing up and fighting for our First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly

more...and some video and the court disposition of the "case"

If we can be arrested for "obstructing the sidewalk" then the First Amendment means nothing.

on edit:

I see that the judge threw out the case, but it's still despicable to arrest protestors for "disorderly conduct" and "obstructing the sidewalk."

It's false arrest.
