....if you want the government to have censorship rights of everything, including the Internet. Keep in mind that the Supreme Court just disappointed the rank and file big time by telling them to keep their paws off freedom of speech via the Internet cases on "adult" material.

It was no accident that this was put on the air.

I don't like it either. But the issue will end up being censorship. Censoring cable is an intermediate step to the Internet and that issue will be right back before the courts. Only they'll have a lot of people on their side of the issue due to stunts like this one.

It's right to be incensed about this. But look to where your rage can be channeled to deny First Amendment rights.

I don't approve of this type of stuff- but call for censorship and you'll open the door for any media left that might ALSO carry programming that is not right wing approved.

AirWAVES are owned by the public, therefore, the rules that apply to broadcast venues. Cable and Internet are different beasts.

Right wingers would just love to be able to pick and chose what goes on those venues, under the guise of "protecting" viewers.

Just how many of the fledgling media left-leaning venues will be on cable? How many of the more progressive shows stream on the Internet?
