NEO-CONS GET WORSE BY THE MINUTE
THIS "LEFT COAST REPORT" IS INCLUDED IN THE LATEST NEWSMAX TRASH.

1. (headline) Moore Malice Is Scary for Kerry

Michael Moore made an appearance after a screening by ACLU of "Fahrenheit 9/11." The New York Post reports that he let loose with pronouncements that when circulated must have terrified John Kerry's campaign and teed off DNC.

Moore described the Dems as "a miserable, pathetic party that can't win an election even when they win an election."

He indicated that he had "posted a petition on my Web site, which I signed, that said I won't vote for anybody who voted for the war. And Kerry voted for the war."

About Al Gore, Moore said, "Nobody counted on him losing Tennessee, nobody counted on him forbidding Clinton from campaigning for him in Arkansas, and certainly nobody counted on him - and Gore is a smart man - losing 3 debates to the dumbest man to ever run for president."

Sharing his assessment of Ralph Nader, Moore said that "he doesn't give a about anybody but himself."

Moore described an incident that had occurred while he was screening his film for a group of students. When he asked the students how many intended to vote for Nader, "about half" raised their hands. Kerry's daughter, Alexandra, was present, and "she freaked out."

*********************************************************************
(This next section, NewsMax uses the words Americans & Fellow citizens in place of Moore's term....neoconservatives. How dishonest can one group of supposed journalists be?
*******************************************************************

Moore has plenty more nasty stuff stashed in his angry arsenal. While in the U.K., Moore did an interview with The Mirror and described his fellow citizens as "possibly the dumbest people on the planet."

He told an audience in Germany that Americans always had a "big a-- grin on our face all the time, because our brains aren't loaded down."

In Cambridge, he proclaimed that America was "known for bringing sadness and misery to places around the globe."

The Left Coast Report observes that Moore is so consumed with his hatred for America, it almost distracts him from counting his box-office receipts.

3. I'm a regular at Moore's site and I've read "Stupid" and "Dude"
NEVER seen this before. I think it's just an outright lie.

5. I'm afraid they aren't
I admire his work, but there is always an uncomfortable feeling about Moore.
The fact is he does villify the general population.
I do not think he's anti american, in fact the real problem is he wants us to become more engaged politically and question everything.
Making bush bad doesn't make kerry good etc..

2. Do you have a link for Moore's interview with the Mirror?
Our local paper printed an Opinion piece by David Brooks today that uses the same wording.

4. Isn't it interesting that CNN features "experts" from NewsMax?
I don't believe Moore said any of those things. They seem completely out of character, and NewsMax regularly lies.

7. Suppress the vote tactics
This seems like more of the disengenuous (sp?) junk that RWers believe will separate Kerry from his base. They spout off things that they actually have no issue with ("Kerry is rich, Kerry voted for the war") in the hope that it will turn Dems off to Kerry. This is part of their suppress the vote tactics.

8. Send this on to moore and ask him to respond to it on his website
He has an entire group waiting to do that, right?

Why are we arguing back and forth? Go to the "horse's mouth" for the answers.
