2. I have it on....
But can't stomache sitting in front of the tele. I am half listening, as I clean up the home, as they are half speaking, as they clean up Iraq.

3. Bush sounds awful
Not that it is anything new, but his voice keeps trailing off, plenty of "and, uh..." and "ahhhh...."

Oh my God, he just called the Iraqi interim govt leaders "stand up, Texas guys"!

6. same old crap
The usual stuttering, stumbling performance, with every other word punctuated by an 'ahhhhhh' or 'ummmmmm' and comprised of the same pre-packaged platitudes he's said a million times ("freedom...ummmmmm....a free Iraq....ahhhhhh....duhhhhh").

I half-heard him correct himself at the beginning of this farce - he said something, then corrected himself to say "IRAQI" security forces, with a heavy emphasis on IRAQI. Did anyone catch what dimwitted thing he said that he had to correct?

8. missed that
but am not surprised - he was utterly awful. The one difference to me is that he sounded more tired, less defiant than usual.

Maybe it was just jet lag. Poor baby.
