Don't you think Repubs are Pissed?
If you don't agree with F9/11, it is still a success. Everywhere you turn, F9/11 has lines down the street. Success breeds other ventures that are successful. People will also start believing there must be some truth to it, It's the #1 movie and millions of people across the country are viewing it. Most people aren't aware of the Saudi connection with the Bushes and that is why there wasn't much outrage at the censoring of the 9/11 report. It will be interesting in the weeks to come to see the impact the movie makes on it's audiences.

2. Oh heck yeah
and if I were a bush supporter, I would absolutely HATE that movie. I wouldn't want ANYONE to see it. I'd want it banned permanently. Yanked from the theaters. The memories of those who had seen it erased.

I hope Moore has good personal security and doesn't go flying in planes that have....mechanical problems or anything....

Is it on track to come out on DVD in October? Woooooooooo......

4. I have been channel surfing all damn day, looking for a pundit
who wants to claim this film is full of lies.

I haven't seen one.

They were everywhere last week. You couldn't escape them! Now the film is out and everyone appears to be silent. Where are you assholes now?

5. I was really suprised that the Michael Moore movie was number one.
I wasn't expecting the Michael Moore movie to be number one this weekend.

I figured that since "White Chicks" is on 3 times as many screens, that only way the Michael Moore movie could be number one is if it's packed while "White Chicks" screenings are 2/3 empty.

But that's exactly what happened.

6. White Chicks just looks creepy. Ewww.
And there's so much press about F911 and people have so many friends and family members who have seen it and have a strong reaction that a lot of people are seeing it just because of THAT.

I have a dear friend who doesn't surf the net, doesn't watch TV and doesn't read papers or magazines. She had actually NEVER heard of this movie until I talked to her on the phone last night and after talking to me, she said she and her husband were going to see it today. I am going to call her in a bit and see what they thought. She was very curious.

7. The timing is perfect. I don't know if this would be happening
if Spiderman 2 were coming out. But it is like a frenzy. People want to know the truth.

8. They're getting more desperate by the day!
They get vicious and dangerous when they get scared. I hope Kerry is planning appropriately - Remember what Bill Clinton said about the GOP and what happens when "the natural order of things" gets undone!

9. I ran into a repub friend last night.... well ex friend now
I started telling him about how great the movie is... and how even though he supports Bush he should really see it. To grasp the whole effect.

He went off on me. Not about the movie... but some imagined slight that I supposedly did to him a couple weeks ago.

He told me I had Balls...to be pushing Michael Moore on him, after I had done what I did. (Nothing really he is just being a big bawl baby)

He had no real argument against it...but he attacked me viciously.

oh well...

10. They Bought the TV Stations and the Papers, Now The Theaters
...must be brought to heel as well.

http://www.globest.com/news/58_58/boston/123785-1.html

BOSTON-A corporation formed by Bain Capital, the Carlyle Group and Spectrum Equity Investors reached an agreement to acquire Loews Cineplex Entertainment Corp. and Grupo Cinemex from Onex Corp. and its partner, Oaktree Capital Management LLC for approximately $1.5 billion.

The Toronto-based Onex and Oaktree will retain the Loews interest in Cineplex Galaxy, which operates the Loews theater business in Canada as well as Galaxy Entertainment. Loews is the third largest movie theater chain in the industry, with over 200 theaters and 2,200 screens worldwide. The assets being acquired include Loews' operations in the US, Grupo Cinemex, and its 50% interests in Megabox Cineplex of Korea and Yelmo Cineplex of Spain.

"Loews Cineplex has been an excellent investment for Onex," says Anthony Munk, a managing director of Onex, which acquired the company out of bankruptcy. "Since acquiring it we have built it into a leading exhibitor." As part of the transformation of Loews, the company completed three acquisitions in the US, Mexico and Korea. They also merged Loews' Canadian assets with Galaxy Entertainment as part of an income trust public offering.

12. Oh, I'm sure the dogs are preparing a mighty assault in retaliation.
We ain't seen nothin' yet. But I know who I'm voting for, so it doesn't matter to me. And as a movie buff, I know a great movie when I see one. Nothing can undo that.
