2. I used to live about an hour North of Wichita Falls
It's Freeperville USA. A completely bizarre town. Shepherd AFB is there so maybe that contributes to the histeria.

5. SE Oklahoma is actually heavily Dem
Albeit conservative Dems. Lot of old schoolers who simply don' trust Repugs but go to church every Sunday.

Southwest Oklahoma, is heavily conservative.

6. I used to spend my summers in Bowie, Texas
close to Wichita, at Grandma's house.

It's a horrible, horrible part of the country, culturally speaking. Since she died I NEVER go back there. Can't even stand most of the relatives there. Bible freaks all...
