Wow! Just happened. 7:10am, Dallas, WFAA Channel 8, 2 whole
minutes for the F911 and gave a shout out at the end to MoveOn and Monday night. Whoa... that was the most amazing part, a shout out to MoveOn.... I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.
This has been an amazing and wonderful week in Dallas. People are waking up all over.
1. It'd be nice to see something similar here on the east coast
Coverage of F911 has been very limited, and what coverage it has received has been biased and focused more on Moore than on his message. I'm glad to see that the message is getting through in some places though.
I live in Keller, an "upscale suburb" in the fast-growing area known as Northeast Tarrant County.
Sometimes I feel like the only liberal in the world. The area is jam-packed with coiffed blondes chatting on the cellphone while they pilot their H2s to and from various frivolities.
I went to one MoveOn meeting—in Dallas.
Perhaps a sea change can occur? I found out that someone in Southlake has a MoveOn party scheduled. I signed up. It's hard to believe (sometimes) that there truly are others of like mind in the area.
I do hope that F911 opens some minds, for there are far too many closed ones around here.
Although my across the street neighbors are agin' Bush. (yay!) Their little girl comes over to play with our dogs and ferrets sometimes and they saw the Kerry stuff on my desk one time and told my wife they can't stand Bush too.
6. You need to get out more and get connected. There are lots of like minded

people all around you doing things every week. Come and join in the "fun".
Last year two kids from a high school on the other side of Ft. Worth showed up at a protest held at Flag Pole Hill in memoriam of the protest held during the Vietnam War. They were two of the sweetest young men and said they felt so alone living in the small town they were in. Their civics teacher had told them to go to the website to find any actions that might be happening and they cut school for the day to come.
I know cutting school is not a good thing, I don't promote it. I did not for that particular protest. The passion of these two kids was very moving to me and they and every person I meet are what keeps me and the other half of anarchy1999 going every day.
