Newsweeks' Michael Isikoff screws up his own lie on F911
Edited on Tue Jun-22-04 08:37 PM by fearnobush
The movie claims that in the days after 9/11, when airspace was shut down, the White House approved special charter flights so that prominent Saudis—including members of the bin Laden family—could leave the country. Author Craig Unger appears, claiming that bin Laden family members were never interviewed by the FBI. Not true, according to a recent report from the 9/11 panel. The report confirms that six chartered airplanes flew 142 mostly Saudi nationals out of the country, including one carrying members of the bin Laden family. But the flights didn't begin until Sept. 14—after airspace reopened. Moreover, the report states the Saudi flights were screened by the FBI, and 22 of the 26 people on the bin Laden flight were interviewed. None had any links to terrorism.

This media whore forgets about the missing 4 from the 26.

Write Newsweek and feel free to add Moore info to debunk this puppet.

8. Not a whore? He was Lucianne Goldberg's & Linda Tripp's whore
for the Monica story. I remember the night in January he went on TV and basically said his report was going to bring down the Clinton presidency. He never missed an opportunity to whore for Ken Starr for the next year and a half.

He's not cool.

9. He was also Kathy Willey's whore
Edited on Tue Jun-22-04 09:03 PM by comsymp
He also stabbed Julie Hiatt Steele in the back, effectively ruining her life, by publishing a story (Willey) she told him was inaccurate.

Not cool? He's contemptible.

7. Newsweek is wrong. Richard Clarke approved the flights on 9/11
I heard Clarke say this during an interview on NPR. Clarke said that he was asked to approve the flights, and he passed the request to FBI, and FBI spoke briefly with the people involved, judged them not to be a threat, and gave clearance. Clarke approved the flight. This was the bin Laden family, and it happened on 9/11.

There may well have been additional flights out of the country on 9/14 and other days, but there was definitely a flight on 9/11. The Tampa airport confirms it.

I'm disappointed in Newsweek. I will write to them.
