OK, we know they hate Moore and Franken: what do they think of Jon Stewart
It seems that if you get to talking with a RWer, they almost always end up attacking Michael Moore and Al Franken, but I can't recall ever hearing a bad word about Jon Stewart, and lately he has been on FIRE about Georgie et al.

Am I just imagining this? It seems that he has a larger audience than the other two (or at least until Friday, heheheh). It would seem like he would be a lightning rod for their vitriol.

Or is his humor too nuanced for them, and they don't realize they are being lambasted?

1. He dished Clinton pretty well yesterday
And I thought it was funny. :) Jon goes after both, but since he is mostly anti-idiocy, Bush and his neocon stooges tend to receive more of the satire.

2. he's Jewish, urban, college educated....seems a slam dunk
they would just LOVE him. Give them time.

Besides, if you searched...I bet there's a "Jon Stewart's the AntiChrist" site somewhere.

4. I'd venture they avoid Stewart on purpose
Since he makes them look stupid by using their own words, not spin and bullshit like the RW does.

Moore and Franken are easy targets since they're known to exaggerate to prove a point which opens the door for Joe Freepnut to call them liars. Jon's biggest slams usually come from the mouths of the liars themselves (Cheney's lie last night and the Medicare Drug Plan fake newscast come to mind).

5. I just watched my 1st "Daily Show."
The 7pm re-run of last night's show. Jon Stewart is great. "Mr. Vice-president, your pants are on fire." I'm hooked.
