2. Chris asked him about the comparison

that many in the repub party are making between his dad and Bush regarding the war and he said, "it's their war and they are gonna have to be responsible for it," referring to the mess that it is. He's very clear about his dislike of the comparison and Chris also askes him about the eulogy and the infamous line, "...his father didn't wear his religion on his sleeve to gain political advantage..." comment. He defends it and expounds on it...

It looks like it's gonna be a good interview...can't wait to see it all.

Ron must be quite an impressive guy -- I even heard Howard Fineman, who's worked with him at MSNBC, say great things about him during an Imus interview.

3. He talked about how a lot of politicians

...are not sincere in the religous beliefs, they just use them for political gain, he did not name names but he did say that they use them to appeal to a certain constituency. He also talked about how Iraq is not his father's war and he wishes that those who want to use his legacy to justify the war should not.
