President's daughter unhurt in Spanish incident
-Snip-
Bodyguards for President Bush's daughter Jenna Bush were entangled in a fist fight with two men trying to steal a cell phone in southern Spain, a U.S. Embassy official said Tuesday.

6. Wow, that's a relief. I lay awake at night worrying about that.

8. body guards?
I thought Secret Service protection was discontinued on children of the president after the age of 21? I guess the word body guard is a code word for secret service. Caroline & John Jr. were able to ditch their babysitters at age 21.

10. IIRC, that's only after the president leaves office
The Bush girls will have secret service protection as long as their dad is in office, unless they themselves request that the agents stop guarding them. They could ask for it to stop tomorrow and it would (though, with a million Muslims worldwide gunning for their dad, that would probably be a stupid thing to do).
