Almost every single Congressional seat is safe, whether it has a D or and R after the incumbant's name. The states have so gerrymandered their districts there are almost no seats left which could switch parties except in a landslide election ala 1964 or 1994. ARGH.
with the rage to gerrymander districts?? I mean, after the brouhaha in TX last month and the "recall" in CA I don't understand how this nonsense is legal. By redistricting to "guarantee" the incumbent his/her seat for perpetuity you completely remove the voters from the process........are we obsolete (Florida notwithstanding)? and if we ARE, what does that say about where politicians and corporate money have taken this country??
by listing one number for * supporters, one # for those who don't support *, and a third for the hopelessly unwilling to take a stand, the freak monkey gets royally slammed.
