punkvoter.com article in Alternative Press...
AP is a pretty slick alternative music magazine but they've been giving a lot of press to Fat Mike and Punkvoter.com and this month they have a pretty extensive article on the whole thing and many of the bands involved.

But they also give an article (albeit a smaller one) to conservativepunk.com. Someone from punkvoter made a good point about this. That every place that reports on punkvoter also gives conservativepunk free press as well and presents them as counterparts, when the reality is that punkvoter has put out an album, is putting on a tour, has tons of big bands involved and has an organizational infrastructure to get out its voter registration drive. Conservativepunk is pretty much one guy with a website and one or two members of defunct bands with no album, no tour, no voter registration efforts or anything.

Although this part of the conservative punk interview was the best (I'm paraphrasing):

Q: So what punks or punk bands have lent their support to conservative punk?
A:Well we've got Michael Graves of the Misfits, Johnny Ramone, Stiv Bator...
Q: Didn't Stiv Bator die almost 15 years ago?
A: Well yeah, but still that's not the point...

Priceless.
