PBS showing only the only good part of Ashcroft testimony where
he didn't look or act as a caged animal.

1. Now showing a woman from the US United Nations delegation (I think)
saying that Bush* basically got everything he wanted with "minor changes". I wonder what those "minor changes" that required so much time and tweaking of the document.
A U of Michigan professor says that the Kurds wanted semi-autonomy from the rest of Iraq and that was not included. Possible source of conflict.

6. well it is obvious that Bush got what he wanted after he ruthlessly
attacked a country and essentially murdered ten thousand or more innocent people

Now we have the UN, who did not sanction this, actually sanctioning this.

and we have a president, an evil president who was not elected, who invaded a country on lies, a country that could not ever have defended itself and that had something we coveted, the oil, being given the OK by the UN. It is NOW OK that he has done so. and we will be jerked around and we and our children will be jerked around with the PR campaign that will tell them, our children, that
Bush was a great and wonderful guy to have done so--something like the old
Churchill or Roosevelt, which most of them do not have one iota of knowledge about.

I tell you, I for one, even though I am only one poor little common man,(actuallya woman) am disgusted by it all. I am disgusted because I still have my morals intact and do NOT see anything like morality being displayed in my government.

and too bad for them--not for me. I know what is the right thing to do, even if they, the Bushes and the Kerrys do not.

19. well yeah, that's pretty obvious
by the way npr jumped on the reagan lovefest bandwagon. i cannot listen to them this week. they are as filtered (all good, skim lightly over the bad) as the worst of the tv pundits who are slobbering all over the actual death of someone who has been, for all intents and purposes, dead for years.

there was one brief allusion by MSNBC to the "Contempt of Congress" comments, no footage.

Leahy repeats the question, and then yes/no.
And then Ashcroft saying no.
Then Leahy saying yes/no?
Ashcroft going around in circles. I saw this this morning but it is DELIGHTFUL TO SEE HIM SWEATING AGAIN!!!
