Does anyone have the latest Harper's article on Leo Strauss?
There's no link on its website. I was wondering if that was accessible to subscribers or if its print only.... really would love to read a copy of the piece.

Thanks

1. Harper's website tends not to have copies of its articles
but you can subscribe to the print version for only $12 a year.

Barring that, it's on most large newsstands. The whole issue is worth getting, as every issue has been for quite a while.

2. If you PM me your address, I'll gladly mail it to you.
Harper's is a fantastic monthly, and I'm more than happy to share it with anyone who's interested.

3. It's alright--I'll go buy a copy
No need to go to that trouble; I live next to news-stands, and can just pick one up. Thank, though!

4. It is an excellent article, but you will
definitely need to re-read it. It's not a breezy read (at least it wasn't for me), although the author did a great job supplying historical background and context.

5. Spend some money on a campaign contribution too.
Harper's has an inside cover ad for Shell which is greenwash. It is about wetlands and is ridiculous since Bush wanted legislation which would destroy wetlands but Shell thinks its scientists protect the environment not the power of government. The strange thing is Harper's readers are people who would notice this. The article about Strauss was good it made me think of libertarians who use sophistry as a weapon. The library has books and periodicals,DVDs,software, voter registration forms, internet access, bus schedules, free parking, and meeting rooms. If they had a coffee bar maybe more people would be interested.
