Will the OC-Kid turn on Shrubya? If so..

- will he go down in a blaze of stupidity in November?

- will he decide NOT to run, throwing the 'pugs into panic mode to find a new candidate?

- will the RNC DUMP Shrubya, knowing their chances are zero if they don't?

1. If Rush ever turned
It would be like pigs flying. It could bring on the apocolypse! The earth would begin to spin in the opposite direction, and the poles would collapse!!!

5. There's another thread here somewhere about Jay Severin in Boston.
Never heard the guy, myself, but they're talking about how he's so frustrated with bush and the mishandling of the Iraq invasion that he can't bring himself to vote for the schmuck. Won't vote for Kerry but claims he isn't voting for bush either. S'okay by me...

13. Severin was one of the Repugnants
all over the tube during the Clinton-Monica days. You would probably recognize him if you saw him.

3. Hard Core Ones will never turn, they will go down with the ship....
Laura, Hannity, Rush - they will never speak the truth. It is not in them.

11. True
Bush will be left with RW wack jobs who are corrupt, stupid, or insane, and that covers the right wing screaming heads like Rush, Hannity and Coulter. His base of evangelical wack jobs will still turn out to vote for him, but moderate Repugs will either hold their noses and vote for Kerry or stay home.

All they can hope for is either a disaster that rallies the country around the only leader it has (unlikely) or heavily hacked voting machines. Given the scale of the latter, that is also unlikely to have enough of an effect to get Bush back into office, and the outcry afterwards when the exit polls are so far off from the official tally will not go away. Steal my country once, we'll give you a chance. Screw up everything you touch and try to steal it again, all hell will break loose.

My guess is that since Bush has lost both much of the military and the CIA, that he won't be in office long should he manage to cheat back in. There will be an unfortunate accident or an outright coup, probably the latter.

6. Rush won't turn
But when he determines the the SS Bush is sinking, he'll come up with several pieces that will basically say "if Bush would do X he can win". Then, when Bush does not do X and loses, Rush can say how smart he was on 11/3/2004.

7. When Rush turns...
... you'll know it. Buildings will shudder. Glass will explode in its frames. It will register on seismographs from here to China.

Bush will say he didn't notice.

8. Rush knows...
... that if he ever turns on Dubya, the Learjet he flies in from NYC where his studio is to West Palm Beach airport on a weekly basis would have a mechanical problem in flight.

It would literally be suicide for Rush to turn on Dubya.
