A pre war letter from Bush
Edited on Sun May-23-04 09:49 AM by GoPsUx

Can you count the lies
1 Disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction
2 Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism
3 More then 40 countries are Bearing the Duty
4 Coalition forces will make every effort to spare innocent civilians from harm
5 We come to Iraq with respect for its citizens, civilization, and religous faiths
6 We have no ambition in Iraq except to remove a threat and restore control of that country to its own people

the rest is sugar coating
care to explain a few of these lies?

2. the date on the letter would NOT make it "prewar" -- it would make
it shortly after the fall of the statue on april 9th ... nonetheless, your post of this letter is a great eye-opener ... do you know the intended mailing list of this letter?

3. I got this letter in response
Edited on Sun May-23-04 10:18 AM by GoPsUx
to The Virtual March on Washington via fax or phone.
I sent a fax to the whitehouse.
I have seen secretary stamps before this one looks hand signed it is even on Cranes 100% cotton paper (cranes makes the paper our money is printed on)
It is from the White house and it came quite a few weeks later then the fax protest.
If its not Dubyas actual hand writtensignature then it sure has me fooled.. that said it is possible.
has anyone else gotten this letter?

Also you are right after rereading it isnt refering to prewar.
I just meant that i faxed him prewar.
look at me im a flip flopper :)

5. it's signed by a machine....
There's a machine that uses a rotating wheel to manipulate a real pen-- the wheel has bumps that encode a signature that duplicates the original. It even produces tiny amounts of variability, has adjustable pen pressure and stroke characteristics, and so on. My ex-wife used to work for the company that makes them, which was based in northern Virginia at the time. Damn-- I can't remember the name of the company or the machine, and of course a google search on something as generic as "duplicate signature" turns up way too much stuff to sift through.

Anyway, I remember her telling me that MANY heads of state and top government officials all over the world buy this thing, and that the WH has several of them for each administration.

4. "We come to Iraq with respect for its citizens, civilians and..faiths"
That is SUCH bullshit! RESPECT has been missing from every aspect of The War To Make Dick Cheney Rich. That letter from the White Haus was yet another lie at taxpayers' expense.

:argh:
