Pics coming in dribs and drabs: Are they *all* from Abu Ghraib?
(W/ nod to Tahiti Nut over in LBN)

Is anyone tracking this? Do all news accounts so far specifically attribute the images to AG prison?

IMO, it takes just *one* pic showing similarly "themed" treatment--humand pyramids, forced sexual positions, pointing to genitalia--to blow the "bad apples" case.

One.

2. Thanks! DU is fantastic, that way.
I mean one person can't keep up w/ everything, especially when it comes to photos floating about w/out accompanying print context.

All from AG, huh? If(IF, mind you) some reporter should get a hold of others from elsewhere showing "like" methods, wow. Game over for *somebody* (I would hope).

Thanks again. :toast:

3. The Pics So Far May Be All From AG, But Now There's a NEW PRISON
A top secret one as reported by NBC where even WORSE torture is happening. See this thread:

4. Right
And thanks again, Beetwasher.

It's simply that with, what, 3000 images on first round of disks, then 3 more disks found, then video tape, and obviously several more prisons across Iraq, I'm not certain how the "public record" is being shaped re: the origins of these images. Soldiers whereabouts can be confirmed; some images however, don't show soldiers at all. Just guys bound to beds and such. Is the Pentagon the only source for the images' locale, or do journos have means of independtly verifying?

IOW, has any news organization clearly stated something like "across all 5000 images, MegaNewsCorp can now confirm all were taken at AG."

Not to mention experiences sans images. Have any similar experiences been related from prisoners once held at other facilities?
