Imus: "Jon Stewart is better than great"

Ann Coulter on insHannity & Colmbs drove Imus to watch the Daily Show. He had nothing but praise for Jon Stewart. I'm glad to hear a 'liberal' voice getting some attention like that.

2. I now have a lot of respect for Imus

I've been pleasantly surprised in him over the last few years.

4. Saw Jon Stewart at my niece's college graduation last weekend.

He was the commencement speaker. The crowd for the most part loved him. The students gave him a standing "O". You could see some of the crowd was not happy with some of the things he said. Got the biggest roar when he said "you may have a college degree, but you can still be an idiot, look at the president." The place exploded.

5. Imus is Better than Correct

Jon Stewart is frickin' incredible!

And to think, I was kind of upset when Kilbourne left TDS. Now I can't stand Craig, and Jon is the only must-watch thing on TV anymore.

6. IMUS Is Either Demented or Just Will Say ANYTHING

Jon STEWERT really *is* the top o'the line. But that has nothing to do with IMUS's saying so. For a couple of months he has been saying that the Shrubbites are "war criminals" and how JK is "my guy" but immediately follows this by saying that he reallly really "likes" Shrub, that Shrub is "good, decent, just surrounded by the war criminals."

Regardless of his saying JK is "my guy", there is NO DOUBT at all that he will actually VOTE for Shrub and that his audience ALREADY is Shrub's.

This would be besides constantly saying that he will "stab" whomever he's talking to. Huh? Is there a joke there?

Just this morning he said that CHENEE was some kind of repugnant "evil," but just as my ears pricked up, he added that, "Don't get me wrong: Al GORE is WORSE."

It would be utterly futile to ask him or anybody to provide even ONE word or deed that would make GORE anything like "evil" or anything in the repugnant class of CHEENEE and Shrub.

Perhaps I just don't "get" IMUS. If he does ANYTHING good with that so-called charity for kids with cancer, it is utterly SEPARATE and does not change, for me, how obnoxious and repugnant this person is. I really believe that the state protective services for children in that state should be closing that "ranch" down and keeping him from children, including his own, just as much as Michael JACKSON.

Really, schtick is schtick, and I will sincerely appreciate it if ANYBODY can make me "get" this crap. The "power elite" who guest on his show are shameless.
