What the Hell happened in Virginia Beach?
Pat Robertson's hometown...

In a recent mayoral election, the Dem won 50% of the vote, the Libertarian, 43, and the Puke, 7.

Huh?!?!

Somethign does not compute.

Pat Robertson's CBN is centered in the Kempsville-Indian River area, right on the Virginia Beach-Chesapeake border.

4. When I lived there
The republicans were always pushing for lower taxes (what else is new) but the people liked the great services offered by the city. they have a wonderful public recreation system and many great libraries. Plus the republicans were not great at following through. "NO CAR" tax was the rally cry of the right well the won the gov's seat but did not have a plan on how to follow through and still have the $$$ needed to run the state. They ended up looking like fools.

As far as Pat goes there were many who despised his tax exempt hate center even in VA
