I bet you Bush goes to the Berg kid's funeral
Why? Because he is from SUBURBAN PHILADELPHIA! And we know what that means in an election year! Favorable photo ops, a picture of him embracing the family splashed on the cover of the Philadelphia Inquirer and face time on the local news.

Also, if the American soldier being held in captivity ends up being killed, I bet Bush does the same thing (He's from Ohio).

3. I don't know, his dad is blaming the government for a role in his death.
I don't think he would be welcome.

That is just my guess.

5. Nick Berg's parents...
...are not for this war and blame the Bush administration for their son's death. I don't think they would accept Bush's presence. Not that he wouldn't be arrogant and opportunistic enough to show up anyway.

6. I doubt Berg's anti-war parents would allow that.

7. Nope, he won't, not because he wouldn't love the "photo-op" but...
because the family knows and has said he is ultimately responsible for their son's death. He won't be anywhere near that service.

8. Did he go to Tillman's?
I don't think he will, especially considering Nick's parents.

12. I'll take a piece of that action
It would be a great photo-op for use in a commercial, but hasn't he got some vacation time coming up?

14. Shrub doesn't do funerals
Even though before the invasion he said he was the one who'd personally have to console all the widows and orphans of the WOT....I guess he forgot.

He doesn't dare show his face to any but a totally vetted, fawning audience.

16. Faux is now the Berg News channel
exploiting it like you wouldn't believe. I thought they were even going to try to get video of the arrival at Dover, they kept talking it up.

18. If he goes...
...he'll have to have the family herded off to a "Free Speech Zone" about three miles away. Because, you know, you don't want the family dishonoring the dead by turning it all political and stuff.
