The real reason the Bush Cartel wants Arnie The Octopus in Sacremento is to complete the deregulation of California's energy industry. As I understand it under the current California dereg law retial energy prices are still regulated.

If Arnie gets in, Katie bar the door. When total energy company deregulation's a reality in Califonia the rest of the country will fall like dominos.

Has the deregulation of any utility ever driven down consumer prices or improved service? Just look at your phone bill.

The republicans are sheer evil if this is what they support.

The "gentleman farmers" who run my state were ready to send a dereg bill to our DLC governor, who was willing to sign it, until the shit hit the fan in California about all the price gouging and fixing committed by the deregulated electricity generating companies.
