Did Garamendi drop out?
What is the status regarding his candidacy? Are Simon and McClintock running to? What is going with the recall? Anyway I am still very angry about it. I hope that somehow Bustamente wins.

1. Yes, Garamendi dropped out
Simon and McClintock are both in. There are 158 candidates.

4. sounds like the size of the initial field in the competition for
Rose Bowl Parade princess.

Is there a listing with any bio info on each available anywhere? BTW, I think Arnie would make a lovely rose bowl princess... would make pasadena proud.

5. Can I bring up something else while we are all on the line??
Alex "Twitt" on MSNBC this a.m. was twittering about a poll shows Aronld "way ahead" of anyone. The CA radio show host she had on said "forget about these early polls" and explained about having to answer on issues, blah, blah. "Twitt" then pleaded "but if the media keeps covering him then won't he be able to maintain that lead and win"??? All this time with the "cross" around her neck (interesting for an anchor). She in essence told us that the media intends to keep him front and center and "make him the next governor"---I soooo hate these people. Anyway, I would like to know, realistically how you think this will shake out?? There are repukes dividing up that vote, a zillion people on the ballot, etc. But does the Dem have any real clout. Minnesota is the classic case of people being idiots....
