WASHINGTON - An American soldier's video diary showing her disdain for Iraqi detainees who died in her charge is to be broadcast by a U.S. network on Wednesday in a further escalation of the prisoner abuse scandal that has shaken the Bush administration and provoked world outrage.

CBS, which two weeks ago broadcast the first pictures of Iraqi prisoners being abused in Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad, said on Tuesday its "60 Minutes II" program would show video footage depicting conditions there and at another U.S.-run prison in southern Iraq called Camp Bucca.

my cousin, who is working in idaho, was telling me this afternoon how the freeps are spinning that the picture was just an "assimilation". that it didn't really happen. blown way out of proportion, they say. :eyes:

i told her to wait for the video. didn't realize it was coming SO soon!

p.s. i noticed that the article said that it doesn't actually show a soldier committing abuse. is that right? if so, the freeps there in idaho will just spin it just like the way they did with the pics. it's just so sad that people can't see this for what it is...

I stumbled onto this site performing a search on stories about Lynndie England and the Abu Gharib prison abuses.

It is nice to come to a place where there are others who think freely. Democrats are definitely in the minority in rural Washington state.

When I first started reading your articles and stories, I was impressed by how you took a stand against the administration at a time when it was very unpopular to do so.

Much like Howard Dean when he brought a sense of purpose and direction back to the party.

The truth is getting out to rational Americans thanks to efforts like yours. (The recent hacking episode was kind of a bummer, though).

Hopefully, it will be enough to take back the White House and just as importantly, Congress.
