James Inhofe might just be the biggest scumbag on the planet
everything this asshole has done before pissed me off seriously, but now he's hitting new lows trying to defend the Iraqi prisoner torture. This guy almost makes * look liberal.

4. Hell if I know...
No, I guess I do know. Inhofe's opponent was former Governor David Walters, who was still fairly notable in people's minds for standing before a judge pleading guilty to campaign law infractions while still in office. And that was the plea bargain.

Naturally, for those who didn't immediately remember this, Inhofe was quick to remind them. As near as I could tell, his 2002 campaign centered entirely on David Walter's "criminal" past. I don't recall a single issue he ran on. A lot of hard-boiled Dems stayed home, but the Republicans and Republicrats were out in force.

I wish I could do something other than apologize for this steaming pile disguised as a human.

I'm just working to try to make sure we elect a Democrat to the Senate this year. The Republican opponents could almost make Inhofe look normal.

But I did see an article which said the 2004 OK senate race will be close, didn't I?
(on edit, I guess not, as he has a few years to go yet)

Here is his ACLU rating:

not so hot, huh?

And here is a quote I found for him:

" I believe very strongly that we ought to support Israel; that it has a right to the land. This is the most important reason: Because God said so. As I said a minute ago, look it up in the book of Genesis. It is right up there on the desk.

In Genesis 13:14-17, the Bible says:

The Lord said to Abram, ``Lift up now your eyes, and look from the place where you are northward, and southward, and eastward and westward: for all the land which you see, to you will I give it, and to your seed forever. ..... Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it to thee.''

That is God talking."

The man talks to God. Sound familiar?

7. 2004 Senate Race - OK
The 2004 race will be close. OK's other long-time Republican Senator Don Nickles is retiring. Two Republicans, Kirk Humphreys and Tom Coburn, are in a fairly close primary race. Both suck mightily. Humphreys is former mayor of OKC and thought a Bass Pro Shops would solve all the city's financial woes, so he concentrated on this and the low-wage jobs it encourages while several higher-wage factories left town. Coburn is another religious nut, a doctor who doesn't believe in condom use.

The Democratic primary isn't very close, which means Brad Carson will likely get the nod. He's a Blue Dog but infinitely better than either of his potential opponents.

6. he strikes me as a man blessed with a severely limited IQ
in other words a perfect Bush supporter.

These people can't think, therefore one can easily use their emotions to support whatever you desire.
