The people who think the Iraqi torture photos are not disgraceful disgust me.
People who think that it's "okay" because they are, after all, just "filthy Arabs."
People who are sympathetic to the soldiers who tortured these human beings.
The Iraqis in these photos are HUMANS no matter what offense they are in prison for. They have FAMILIES and LIVES. It is NEVER OKAY to degrade, or harm someone regardless of whether you agree or not with what they do.
All of us who said this war was horrible from the beginning are only now finally being listened to. Glad it only took pictures of the worst humanity has to offer.

1. Yep...There is No Excuse

I saw an uncle of one of the guards (the one who took the pictures) and he was trying to spin this thing into something it's not. Regardless of who gave the orders (the military or MI), the guards are still responsible.

I know that in war, shit happens. There is no denying it. But now that we have proof (via the photos), these people and their commanders need to take responsibility for their actions.

Iraq was quickly slipping out of our control. With the addition of these pictures and what they represent, it is surely a lost cause.
