Who here remembered Operation Eagle's Claw?????????????????
Today was the anniversary of the commemoration service for the commandoes who perished in that rescue mission. What I was getting at was I wondered if anyone could believe that then President Carter attended that service and the Shrubbery or * had yet to attend even a single military funeral.

1. FYI, a great thread here from last November on the operation.
There's much to suggest it was intentionally sabotaged:

And Lt. Gen. James Vaught, the Joint Task Force Commander of the rescue mission, gave a speech last Fall in which he said "I'm glad we didn't free those hostages in Iran back then, which would have just meant another four years under Jimmy Carter."

2. Wondered how the families and friends of the guys who perished
would have taken any serious big time proof that they were actually murdered or something like that???????????????????
