Cheney is an evil man. Telling congress to "leave him alone" (Rumsfeld)
Not "get to the bottom of it", not "let's not let this happen again" nothing that would show any kind of humanity whatsoever. This is an evil man. His ass should be out the door with rumsfeld. The nerve of that shameless fuck. sorry for the mini-rant. but damn.

2. It's just another case
of the "good old boys" standing up for each other. Look how visible Cheney has become lately (say in the past six weeks). He has to be out there now spinning away because of all the dirt coming out with the 911 commission hearings and now the torture stories. Cheney has to be out there because the Repubs can't have Bush's feet touch the dirt this close to November.

It's so obvious that it is laughable. Just let that crew spin themselves into a hole.

3. True Colors

His true colors were found in his statements in the last two days.
You can tell that he is feeling the drumbeat of bye bye to the Unvicepresident.

I loved the fact that he actually said such stupid things at a time when every word is carefully observed.

What a thug.
And, I really can't believe that he is saying that Rumball is the best Defense Secretary that we have ever had. HA HA if it didn't make me cry for my country.

4. Dick is like the asshole on the playground who backs up every other kid
he gets to do his dirty work for him.

If Dick fails to cover Rummey's back he knows the fingers will eventually point to him.

Release of Cheneys' energy papers, please.

5. the asshole thinks because he was CEO of Halliburton and has a lot of mone
that he has some sort of power and credibility over us all.

Actually , I find him to be a pathetic excuse for a human being--not only lacking a healthy heart, but lacking in a soul.

6. I understand his reasoning from his sick mind, but doesn't the
American public demand more from it's politicians??? Shouldn't the freaking vice-president be concerned about "his" country torturing it's enemies. Isn't this the basic problem??? This man could give a shit about the victims, he cares about politics and nothing else. Truly twisted. Truly sad. A true dick.

8. No, I have come to believe the American public demands nothing
of their politicians only that they allow them in some way to continue to provide them with the goods necessary to get on in tneir lives of accumuilating far more goods and toys than they need, far more food to eat than they need, and far more spoiling of their children than is healthy--it is bread and circuses.

That is what I think. It is American superficiality and vulnerability to glitz and titillation far beyond what is healthy.

7. Did Cheney tell bu$h* to "leave him alone"
when the threesome met in the Oval Office. You do know that bu$h* recently scolded Rumsfeld, right?

Bu$h is one tough cowboy....

9. Do you think Bush actually scolded Rumsfeld?
Or do you that bit of hush-hush news was just a Karl Rove piece of shit leak designed to convey the President's "outrage" to American voters without actually having to fire the guy.

10. Too funny - couldn't stop laughing
Especially when the news said Bush said he scolded Rumsfeld for not getting this situation across to him clearer. My whole family started talking super slow and deliberate to see how much clearer someone would have to be to get anything across to Bush while he's playing his little war games in the corner of the room.

12. I wouldn't be so proud of Colin Powell either.
He ranks (for me, anyway) as perhaps the greatest DISAPPOINTMENT in this administration. He should have resigned with honor, not just put on a brave face and continued to back thieir stupid policies.

I expected more from him than the rest of this bunch.

15. mitchum's dad says, "Bush is stupid, but Cheney is the devil"
The harshest words I have ever heard my father use are: foolish, shiftless, crooked, trifling. Until this adminisration came along...
