The first round of photos was bait
WHoever is doing this baited the trap for the rats.

The thought they could brush it off. The queen of the Rats, RUsh was the first to take the bait - "Fraternity Prank" he said. The the rest of the remaining pundits joined in. The administration thought they could weather the storm.

If Bush had known, he would have demanded Rummys resignation the first INSTANT this hit the air and he could have saved himself. He thought he could weather it too. Now that they have failed to take appropriate action, they have implicated themselves in this.

Now that they took a position, part two of the one-two punch is delivered - rape videos.

I buy the idea that this is our troops doing the right thing - following the orders but then secretly defending Americans ideals that have bbeen desecrated by the higher ups. The fact that one details the orders he was given in a journal sent home is verry suggestive of this.

1. I hope you are right. I really hope so. I think it's going to go the way
of Plame and so many other things. Brushed off with a "too close to the White House, we're at war right now" kind of excuse. But, there is always hope. :hi:

5. Nope. This isn't goin' away...
Their very last excuse, "Saddam was a "bad" man", for even going into Iraq has now been invalidated. Spells big trouble not only for Bush*, but for America. :scared:

10. On the bright side...

Perhaps a pervading global attitude that America owes it to the world to vote Bush* out of office over this will set in, and result in the, more or less, righting in the eyes of the entire world of the people of America. *crosses fingers* Uh, the stakes are high..

2. THIS is 'non traditional' warfare.
Do you have a link to the story about the soldier's journal you mention?

Thanks

4. No I don't - I read it on another thread a few minutes ago
Sorry for repeating unconfirmed information, but it was stated as if it were a matter of fact, so I assumed it was common knowledge.

3. Will they ever be shown to the American people?
Or will they be destroyed . . . Interesting that Rumsfeld mentioned this . . .there must be plenty floating around that they can't control . .

8. I hope you're right. God, I do.
If they apologized for the first batch of atrocities, how can they follow up the second?
