Why is the price of gas so high ? Maybe I have answered my own question but didn't a lot people think they would be able to jawbone with the Arabs and keep the price of gas low?? Or will we get lower prices starting about September or October, just before the election- just as the leaked reports said a couple of weeks ago?

For people that drive for a living, these high gas prices takes a lot of bucks out of their pockets. When you can only get 5 gallons of gas for $10 dollars, that doesn't take you very far. Multiply by two or three times a day, 5 days a week, and you can see that you're talking about real money...

They want that money too so they're not gonna give it up. To fund their campaigns and wars.

I suppose we're gonna see some European posters that tell you the price of thier gas and it is high but the difference is they get their money back in social welfare payments so it all evens out.
