Thursday, 11 AM: launch of "The 911 Show" on Toronto's CIUT FM

CIUT's the University of Toronto station. Always generating plenty of strong, alternative programming.

I got the news from http://www.911inquiry.org/Weblog.htm :

Launch of "The 911 Show" on Toronto's CIUT 89.5FM takes place tomorrow, Thursday, May 6th, 11 a.m. to noon.

Subsequent editions of the program will air on the Thursdays May 13th, 20th and 27th. The May 20th show will be a special extended program, a Round Table featuring David Ray Griffin, author of the highly-praised book The New Pearl Harbor--Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11.

Griffin will be live from Europe during the two-hour program in conversation with the host and four guests in CIUT's Toronto studios.

Steve Reimer will anchor the first edition of the new program and be available for other scheduled 911 progammes. Phil Taylor will also function as an anchor beginning May 13th. CIUT will provide its studios and a board technician for all shows.

The program is a co-operative venture of the International Citizens' Inquiry Into 9/11 (to be held May 25-30) and CIUT-FM, which is also becoming the exclusive radio sponsor of the Inquiry.

CIUT 89.5FM will cover the Inquiry extensively.

2. I doubt it. It's available on Canadian satellite,

but I don't think it's an option in the US.

From the site:

"89.5 FM is teamed with Star Choice Communications Inc. -- a leading provider of satellite services.

"Since 1998, 89.5 FM has been heard nationally via channel 826 on Star Choice's National Satellite Network, which has over 800,000+ subscribers."

However, the station does stream, so you should be able to listen online.

Griffin is one of the guys who thinks that the plane didn't hit the Pentagon, and the WTC was blown up by controlled demolition. This "911inquiry.org" place refers to his book as a "dispassionate" account, relating just facts. Har har har. So once again, it's all just a bunch of gibberish.

Or that Ted 'arkansaw project' Olsen got a phone call (hi honey) from his wife barb, who was calling on her cell phone from the jet that hit the pentagon? and that call was the entire hinge upon which CNN pointed to osama as the culprit....do you believe that the fbi was able within 24 hours to produce mugshots of 19 hijackers (despite that many of them are still alive, one guy's an active duty inter'nl airline pilot!)
You know, the 'no plane hit the pentagon' bit does seem far fetched, i mean even people DUers etc said they saw the damn thing, but STILL something happened on 911 that makes no sense..gettit? NO Sense! And there's no goddam way them building's fell so neatly w/out some extraorodinary help (call it demolition if you will; i heard tapes of fireighters in wtc yelling they hearing explosions moments prior to building's collapse)....

11. just because Griffin's book is a cut 'n paste

pile of undigested tinfoil (for the most part) does not mean that there are many legitimate unanswered questions.

Griffin's "book" does not help by lumping the looniest CT with serious inquiry (like paulthompson's timeline which is quoted EXTENSIVELY even though he does not advance fringe fantasies like 'no pentagon plane'
