Whoa-Arab Networks Airing Bush Remarks are Frauds..........
Was up at 5:30 eastern time today and surprising what one can hear from the news at that hour that is later scrubbed up and/or deleted later in the day. CNN was talking to the Arab woman who is the head of their news section dealing with the Arab world.

They were talking about these Arab stations that will be airing Bush's "save my ass" so-called "inteviews" today to be broadcast to the Arab world. Just like she did a few minutes ago on CNN she did give details on the two stations. One is run out of this country and went on the air as we invaded Iraq; the other has been broadcasting for like two months. HOWEVER, the version a moment ago, dropped something she said early this a.m. She said the Arabs either do not listen to these two or spit upon them because they are thought of as simply propaganda tools of the USA. That brings up a question in my mind: who really is Bush's propaganda speech aimed at??? They know that broadcasting on these two is meaningless; therefore, they would chose differently if they really wanted to reach the Arab world. Dare I say this stunt is for American consumption???? These slime can never, never play it straight. They don't mind angry Arabs because it helps fuel their base's bloodlust. Anyway, this is nothing more than another Bush campaign speech to get critics off his back.

2. What, we don't deserve any explanation?
We know that this had reached the WH early this year and * has only now decided to express his indignation! What a phony!
If he were to give the American press the same opportunity he would be exposed and he knows it.

3. EVERYTHING Bush does is for domestic consumption
All of it. And what isn't designed for US audiences has some other alterior motive. He hasn't told the truth about anything yet.

4. I also have to chuckle at the 10 minutes to each limit
This is a MAJOR fuckup that's going to affect GI Joe as he has another batch of screaming, irrate people looking to blow off his ass and Georgie is doing this same damn prick thing he does to our press...and or 9/11 commissions (as another example). He will only talk to them for 10 minutes. He will dictate the terms and you can damn well bet they gave those stations exactly the questions they could ask so moron boy doesn't look so..ahh..moronic.

5. Juan Cole has some thoughts on his site this morning regarding
Arab TV....."crock of steaming excrement"

"Allam notes that the US alternative, al-Hurra, provides less than an hour of hard news per day, and is widely ridiculed in Iraq as the gardening channel because of the pablum in which it specializes. Even when it does news, it can't be very effective. I saw a program list recently, and it started off with an interview with Elie Wiesel about how he can't support the Palestinian cause because Palestinians engage in violence. At a time when the US siege of Fallujah was fresh in everyone's minds, this must have struck Arab viewers as the crock of steaming excrement that it is. And if that is the lead segment on the US-provided 45 minutes of news, then the US may as well not bother."
