This magazine always tried to be Germany's "Times Magazine". It's about the most influential weekly magazine in Germany.
I'm not exactly a fan of them, but I'm an evil leftist anyway...

Americans still belong to the master race:-), even in Germany.


There might be some diehard Anti-Americans, as there always were Anti-Americans in Germany, but the good news might be: among those, especially on the left in Germany, who oppose the political system in the USA and Bush the most, you will not find any kind of Anti-Americanism. Did your parents experience any kind of racism here in Germany, because of the war against Iraq or Bush?
I guess, if I would have to chose, I would prefer being a wealthy republican in Germany, instead of being an immigrant from Iraq.

It will be "the" photo that symbolizes this war.

Think of all it symbolizes. A man with a hood over his head. Cannot see. That could just as well be the U.S. Yet he is wired...wired to explode if he "falls" from his tenuous foundation.

I think that Germany should know better than to brand the U.S. with the actions of a few Americans as they have had to overcome the negative images of the actions of a minority of neo-nazis and skinheads who harrassed foreigners and opposed the influx of work visa immigrants a few years back.

Yes, there are neo-nazis & skinheads in Germany. But they don't represent the German people as a whole. And the Germans haven't invaded another country recently.
