12. Bush is unfit to do anything but
...marry the boss's daughter and go to work in his company, selling used cars and getting called into daddy's office at least once a week because he's hopelessly screwed up the paperwork.

Had he not been born to privilege, this is the most he could have achieved.

How can he expect the troops to respect an AWOL and a wimp? What if everyone followed his example? What if the American soldiers in 1776 had all just gone home and not come back like Bush did?

Edited on Mon May-03-04 05:13 PM by patrice
All of those pauses when he speaks are where he is trying to remember what he was told to say.

I taught highschool for ten years. There are people who just don't have a lot going on inside their heads. This is one.

When you hear about his high EQ (Emotional Quotient = the ability to recognize and use emotional conditions around you), you should understand that people of limited intelligence often adapt high EQs to compensate for their lack of analytic skills.

36. Usually "lack of affect" there.
Though that may not be the same thing being able to read others' emotions accurately.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were some high EQ in what is refered to as a "Borderline" personality disorder, characterized by lots of manipulation of those around you.

Also, on the subject of "flip - flopping", it is a common characteristic of a variety of personality disorders that the disordered person is inflexible and unyeilding.

You can look this stuff up in the DSM IV (or V . . .?). That's the Diagnostics and Statistics Manual which can be found at any good university library, especially schools with medical schools attached to them.

26. He is just unfit,
period. My big question is, if President Clinton got this PNAC proposal signed by all of those neocons, and turned it down, that meant that the Democrats knew what they were up to. Why did they let this happen? Why did they let the neocons get in there. Why did the Dems in the Senate approve those Iran-Contra criminals? I want to know.

35. Count me in.
Have you ever noticed the obvious pleasure with which he talks about war? He seems to love telling people that this nation is at war (which, oddly enough, did not prevent from holding his little costume party on the Abraham Lincoln a year ago with the "mission accomplished" banner).

Anyway, a leader of maturity and perspective would speak of war in sorrow, not with a degree of preening and self-satisfaction. Hence I cannot stomach Bush as commander in chief.

Ever heard of the wet brain symptom? Its when an alcoholic has drank so much that his brain is swimming in fluid. Dumb ass passed that mark years ago. Then he started on the "powder" drugs to try and dry it up!
