Woman with blow job defense gets off
Connecticut resident Heather Specyalski was acquitted of all charges yesterday after using her unique "blow job" defense. For those of you who do not know about the case, Heather was an attractive young woman several years back who was involved in a car accident in which the driver, her wealthy boyfriend, was killed and she was severely injured and still has problems to this day. The state policeman on the scene at the time of the crash listed him as driving. Paramedics on the scene noted that his pants were down, but none of his clothing was torn.

However, the wealthy family of the now dead man had connections to our sleazy governor John Rowland and had the case re-opened and the officer's supervisor changed the story to say that she was driving. She was then charged with vehicular manslaughter. Her defense was that she could not have been driving because she was giving the driver a blowjob.

The jury believed her... or had a ton of reasonable doubt.

Here is the part about Rowland's involvement. McKenzie is our version of Karen Hughes...

>>>
In the midst of such a sad case, jurors did find one moment particularly funny. Keckley and another juror had a laughing fit when Jo McKenzie, Gov. John G. Rowland's longtime aide and political confidant, took the stand. McKenzie testified that she contacted the state's public safety commissioner to seek his help in reviewing Esposito's death.

10. I don't know about her but I don't think he did.
Unless it was while "getting off" that the crash occurred

7. well, it's not just a hot babe giving a BJ
It is the fact that it is almost like a 3rd world dictatorship here under Rowland. The police officer on the scene said HE was driving. The paramedics on the scene noted his pants here down and they were not damaged... however, due to the decedent's family being connected to Rowland, the police officer's supervisor changed the story to one with her driving and got her charged with vehicular manslaughter.

12. How's This For Interesting Choice of Words?
The state used experts for their criminal case who the Espositos had hired for work in civil lawsuits related to the fatal accident. That left "a nasty taste" in his mouth, Keckley said, but jurors did not hold that against the state's case.

14. I hope she sues!
Someone deserves to go to jail for trying to railroad her like that. What the hell is it with Republicans and the Rule of Law?

15. Why were they trying to get her blamed?
For insurance money or what? It seems so ridiculous. They were both drinking, being reckless and a horrible accident happened. I don't see how trying to pin it on her does the family any good unless it is pure greed fueling their actions.

16. not 100% sure
I'll have to try to dig up some old articles, but I think part of it is for insurance money and part is that they don't want their late son's name besmirched.
