IRANIAN ANTI AIRCRAFT FIRE AGAINST SUPPOSED U.S. SPY PLANES!
Ok so it's kind of a tin foil strech but here it goes...

Several days ago, Iranians began reporting in mass numbers spotting certain supposedly UFO's flying throughout the night over cities in Iran, the military was quick to dismiss the objects and say that the Iranian people were wrong:

Dozens of UFO sightings excite Iran

Colorful lights over cities spark flying-saucer fever

The latest location on planet Earth to be hit with UFO fever is Iran, as dozens of sightings have been reported in recent days in the Islamic republic.

According to Reuters, state-run television today broadcast a sparkling white disc flying over the capital of Tehran, saying it was filmed last night.

People were reported rushing out into the streets in eight towns last night to watch a bright "extraterrestrial light dipping in and out of the clouds."

The Islamic Republic News Agency also reports colorful objects seen beaming out green, red, blue and purple rays over the northern cities of Tabriz and Ardebil and in the Caspian Sea province of Golestan.

And cartoons of alien spacecraft have been gracing the front pages of local newspapers this week.

An air force officer in the Revolutionary Guards was quoted in the reformist Vagha-ye Etefaghiyeh daily saying Iran's Supreme National Security Council should investigate whether these visitors from afar had hostile intent, according to Reuters.

But Sa'dollah Nasiri-Qeydari, head of the Astronomical Society of Iran, told the wire service the stories were unfounded.

"In my opinion, flying saucers do not exist," he said, insisting his telescopes would have spotted any potential invaders from space.

"The people who have seen these things are not experts – farmers, villagers and pilots," he added.

Nasiri-Qeydari suggests people could actually be viewing the planet Venus, whose light could be given different colors when filtered through the atmosphere.

As WorldNetDaily reported earlier this month, residents of Australia got a case of UFO fever when what has been speculated to be a meteor lit up the sky with light comparable to "50,000 spotlights."

All the Clerics in Iran have been denying this, but then last night, ANTI AIRCRAFT BATTERIES IN IRAN's CAPITAL WERE ORDERED INTO A FULL STRIKE. I called up my friends and they confirmed this. They heard and saw the anti aircraft batteries being fired into the sky, and they saw iranian fighter jets taking off and SAM missles being fired:

Tehran's Air defense shot the sky

Millions of Tehranis rushed, this evening, into the streets, to the top of their roofs and many in shelters as the Tehran's Air Defense, suddenly, started to fire to sky. A nourished ground to air shout out was made in most areas of the Capital reminding of the period of the Iran-Iraq war and the nightly jets or missiles attacks of Saddam forces which resulted in hundreds of deaths and injured.

No one seems to know exactly why such exercise happened but there might be strong connection to the rumors on UFO's seen in Iran's sky.

In reality, many believe that the so-called UFOs might be in reality Foreign Reconnaissance flights and the try of the Islamic regime to misinform the public. The regime's leaders are fearing that any news, if happen, on US flights over Iran might degenerate into massive protest demos intending to overthrow the theocratic regime.

__________

To me this makes sense, Americans conducting recconaissance, Iran denying it for fears that it could lead to an arousal of pro revolutionary sentiment at the sight of US warplanes.

1. Confused. Overthrow theocratic regime and get what?
And how on earth would American planes cause revolution in Iraq? I'm not connecting the dots here.

2. No not Iraq, Iran...
It's completely probable that the sight of U.S. warplanes could cause a huge arousal of hope for the anti government protesters and degenerate into huge protests.
