Anybody watching Wolf?!!!
Unbelievable segment on Blair and Bush WMD lies. Showed a clip of smirk being a wise ass when asked about it. Smirk: is he trying to purchase uranium now? ha ha. He's not trying to purchase anything now.

Then showed Blair being skewed in the House and wildly protesting that he did anything wrong.

If this kind of coverage would be shown on every news broadcast tonight, we would see the beginning of Niger-gate.

Now showing Senators grilling Rumsfield.

Dare I say it? This may have legs.

1. Watched it
The grilling that Blair got was well deserved and brutal. The joke that Bush made was highly innapropriate, but what did you ecpect from someone with the emotional maturity of a 13 year old?

5. Wolf pointed out that Bush wouldn't answer the questions...
I don't know what the specific question asked was. They only stated that bush's response was to questions about the false info in his SOTU speech.

Are the whores turning?

14. highly inapropriate indeed!
He looked like the jackass that he is. The Blair segment was fantastic. I would think even one with the least coprehensive thinking skills watching, could not help but to contrast and compare the US response vs the UK and think WTF?!

7. Blair got absolutely blasted!
Wouldnt it be great if the spineless dems would tear bu$h apart like that? I know that he would never be allowed to stand before congress and take on critical, hardball questions like that.
He'll just send Rummy or Powell in there to "take one for the team".

BTW, did ya catch Rummy lieing his sleazy ass off today?

22. rumsfeld was so unctuous.......and incoherent
his rambling answer about ever-changing intelligence info coming in was so convoluted that there was no follow up.

BUT whoever the questioner was, failed, of course, to ask him how on earth the Niger forgery could have slipped through, even if there were a MILLION pieces of information handed over for vetting for THE MOST IMPORTANT SPEECH that twerpsquatter has given since whenever you choose to mark it.

we went to WAR because of that speech!!

THOUSANDS of people were NEEDLESSLY SLAUGHTERED because of that speech!!!!!

where's Bill Bennett?

where's his OUTrage?

didn't he grab ahold of WJC's pantlet like a rabid yorkie for YEARS because of the LYING???????????????????????????

yank him off his poker machine and get him to bloviate on THAT

3. Yep!
I'm watching.. I love Smirk's little quote: "the facts, will....(pause)...uh.. bring out the truth".. Wow.. what an orator! And damn! What an exchange in the Parliament! About the only thing I can say for Blair is, at least he's not hiding in Africa... I'm beginning to think that the higher the heat under Blair's ass, the more likely he'll be to sell Dumbya out. Maybe our best angle.

6. Yeah. Smirk had a humina humina moment there...
that tells you the boy is very nervous.

If Clark would announce while the heat is being turned up, it would be perfect timing.

4. I hope it does
The Republicans and right-wingers should be reminded that it's, "not about the sex, it's about the lies." The ONLY reason the Bush Administration finally came forward with the truth on the uranium claim was because of the pressing Tony Blair is taking. The CIA knew it was false and that's why Bush attributed the data to the "British Government." George W. Bush intentionally mislead America and the rest of the world, and he should be held accountable for his actions.

Make sure to vote in wolf's poll:

9. Wow.
Will that be repeated in the evening, West Coast time?

Loved Jennings last night. CBS covered the story third and filled it full of weasel words, such as "The president was misled."

BS!

Edited on Wed Jul-09-03 04:54 PM by Kahuna
Says, the dems saw all of the CIA evidence before the vote and shouldn't now be saying that they were brainwashed.

Wolf asked if there should be a inquiry, his response, dead people, mass graves...blah blah blah...

Also claims that Saddam moved all of those barrels of WMDs. He doesn't know WHERE exactly, but knows that he moved them. Whadda morAn. :puke:

on edit: This is my email to Wolfie:

Regarding your 7/9 reporting of the Niger report/SOTU "controversy."

I thought I'd never see the day when you would just report the news instead of trying to spin it for the White House.

I haven't watched CNN for a long while because I felt that CNN did a very poor job in delivering actual news. If you keep up this kind of reporting, I will check you out more often.

Dim wit apparently has no idea what Saddam is doing. If he did, we'd already have the forensic evidence confirmed by autopsy or other scientific evidence. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!
