US discussing letting Saddam out on early leave so he can run Iraq?

It's such a mess that it is being reported this morning that top generals of Saddam Hussein are being used in Fallujah to help bring order to that place. When, just a few months ago, we had a deck of cards and we were trying to kill all the remaining Baathist supporters of Saddam, this seems like a world-record "flip-flop". It appears we are playing it by ear - we really have no plan.

We are clearly acting in a desperate manner in order to turn over the reins on June 30th. That's why we have to destroy Fallujah. We won't be able to turn it over if we have such a nest of insurgents and terrorists as are in Fallujah. If we can just get rid of those, then Iraq will be much more peaceful....they think.
