on the same chair? As they're facing the commission, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, NOT UNDER OATH, mind you, they still need this 'extra assistance' to make sure they've got their shit straight.

As the questions start, the commissioners speak slowly, and gently because they don't want to appear belligerent. They give them lots of time to think over their answers and make sure it all hangs together with their past statements.

There'll be time to go back, correct statements, and show their sincerity through it all. Worried faces, concerned looks, "Oh, yes, the President did everything he could to avert terrorism". And No, there was never any indication that the terrorists would do it."

What a waste of time.
