Stupidest line ever - Arnold - "giving something back"
Arnold gave a "speech"/Q&A about an hour or so ago after he registered for the recall election.

One of his lines was to the effect of "The people of California have given so much to me, now this is my way of giving something back"

During the same speech he also claimed to be the most highly paid entertainer in the world.

WTF? Is this guy for real???

Let's look at the BS here... "most highly paid" and "giving something back" hmmmmmm.... Gee Arnold ever think of donating a lot of money? You were crying about how much you cared about children today, maybe you could help those who don't have food? Oh no I'm sure you couldn't possibly afford to do that. My god, imagine if you only had 5 million dollars instead of 100 million!

But let's also look at the logic here.... By CA voters electing YOU governor you - a person with no political experience what so ever - you will by some twisted mental thought be "giving something back". Uh, ok. Right.

1. Yesterday he said...
"I will tell the people what to think..."

and

"We have to work to insure our children don't have books..."

California is DOOMED! Now, what WE must do is paint the entire GOP as 'Terminators!' Use their broad-brush approach...

4. The Democrats need to get serious!!!
This is such Bull!!! The only reason this ASS is running is because he can win it for them. He is an arogant morAN ("I will the people what to think" - Fuher Arnold)!!!
The Repugs will do anything in their power to win. I am very, VERY, concerned about next year.

6. "I'm going to pump the economy of Califo-nia"
This was part of the speech he gave after Leno's show.

If it weren't for the $60 million this recall will cost California this election might be kinda fun.

7. He will win, won't he?
I am not from CA, but I can smell a celebrity victory 3000 miles away. The nonpolitical masses in the middle will simper, swoon, and vote for him!

This is VERY BAD for us: as Governor next year, Scwartzf----r will endorse and campaign for bush in CA. Could that do it for them??

8. I don't know... the dirt suddenly makes him look rather bafoonish.
If he starts looking like a bafoon to the voters - the celebrity sheen sort of rubs off.

But the porn star stuff... the sticking a carot into a woman's buttocks? the drug use on tape (documentary in the 70s on weightlifters)... If this dirt is real - I can't imagine him looking like anything but a bafoon.

And he runs the risk of being used worse than Issa. If he really is turned into a baffoon - then his regular profession will take a hit as well. He could end up with NO office - and no decent movie parts in the future.

9. I wasn't aware of any of that.
Good! I hope the Dems will have the sense (or the guts) to use it... Think they will?

10. Could be a backlash to the media lovefest
We might not do the Jesse Ventura thing here. The media loves Aunold and that just might piss folks off.

Hey, where do I find this porno thing so I can send it to my progressive friends (purly for the intellectual curiosity sir).

15. "and no decent movie parts in the future"
LOL...I wasn't aware that he had ever had any...

No doubt he's made a fortune, despite his severe lack of talent, but WOW:

Collateral Damage
Dr. Dolittle
The 6th Day
Eraser
Junior
True Lies
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Total Recall
Red Heat
Commando
The Terminator
Conan the Barbarian

13. the media loves him
Hardly surprising, since he's a Republican. The SF Chronicle was all over itself in excitement.

So the real question is: is the support of the Republican media enough to elect whatever damn Republican they annoint?

14. He's taking a little bit of democracy away.
Not good. Not good at all. This whole thing stinks and he will be forever tainted in my eyes.

 Ahnold.
