Now it's not 'just democratic party politics attacking our brave W'.

2. This is Good??
What is good about a draft?

Surely it has been part of Bush*s plans all along.
He cannot possibly implement the PNAC agenda without
a several million man army. Once he gets the draft
through Congress, nothing can stop him from invading
the entire middle east.

3. I just saw the headline
posted in RED across the front of the Drudge Report about the possibility of a Draft being reinstated and am in shock. Absolute shock. At aleast it's coming from the Repugs...still...I think it will fly like a lead brick. Hopefully Congress will say NO way as will most of the American voters...Guess we'll see.

Will it fly? The draft being reinstated? Although I am in favor of public service, I'm not a fan of the draft. I've worn Uncle Sam's uniform for 27 years, currently stationed overseas on an unaccompanied tour with out my wife and kids, and I would much rather have volunteers in the ranks than draftees. But draftees would expose 100,000s to public service and a cross section of society that many would never experience. What loop holes will be created so that the rich and priviledged power brokers kid's will be able to escape the draft? What a nightmare. And I've got a 15 year old son, that I don't want following in Dad's military footsteps. I want him to have other options....
